We are an area group representing La Leche League International which is committed to bringing mother-to-mother breastfeeding support to moms in the Thornton, CO area.

Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at:

Meetings are free and children are always welcome. Meetings are led by accredited La Leche League Leaders who speak on behalf of LLL. Since this is a mother-to-mother support group, you may hear things that have worked for other mothers but that you do not feel comfortable with personally. You are the best judge of what will and will not work for your family, so please feel free to accept or reject any information you hear.
Series Meetings are held in cycles of these four topics:
- The Benefits of Breastfeeding (January, May, September)
- COUPLES MEETING - The Baby Arrives: The Family and the Breastfed Baby (February, June, October)
- The Art of Breastfeeding: Avoiding Difficulties (March, July, November)
- Nutrition and Weaning (April, August, December)
(Note: Usually meetings are for women only due to the fact that some women don’t feel comfortable breastfeeding around other men, but the second meeting of the month is a COUPLES MEETING where dads are welcome!)
All questions and concerns are welcome, so please feel free to come to a meeting even if the question doesn’t have to do with the Series Meeting topic.
